Volunteering with S+K
LONDON, BIRMINGHAM + BEYOND
If you're a young person between 16-24 and based in the UK, we'd love to hear from you! We provide voluntary and paid experience and training opportunities to work with S+K across a variety of projects. If you're passionate about the arts and need to build up some experience, this could be for you.

In 2017, we took on five young people aged 16-19 who worked with us across our projects in roles such as event production, digital marketing and workshop facilitation. We worked with two young people from the Urswick School in Hackney aged 16-18 who were being trained in marketing and stage management by the team in the lead up to SKFEST.
In summer 2018, we were joined by Trainee Producer Olivia Douglass who we worked with to develop her skills in fundraising & partnerships, programming and financial management in the lead-up to SKFEST 2018. We also engaged a dozen volunteers over the course of the festival, of which two thirds were from Tottenham.
Currently we are working with three 16-18 year olds from the London Academy of Excellence - Tottenham who will be with us until Spring 2019 learning about delivering creative learning projects, script development, project management, marketing and fundraising. We will also be engaging a Trainee Marketing Assistant to work alongside Danni in Birmingham from the new year, with the potential for their role to expand to a paid opportunity after the placement.
And there's more! With the expansion of Bring Me In throughout our 2019-2020 season, there'll be even more opportunities to get involved with what we're doing by maintaining networks on a national level; we'd love to hear from artists and practitioners in key UK cities to collaborate with.
